1. GENERAL INFORMATION
Requirements:
-Windows 9x/2000/XP/Vista (32-bit)
-2 MB free HDD space
-Tiberian Sun installed
Description:
BattleSun
is a Tiberian Sun “ini”
files editor. It helps with editing Tiberian Sun and Tiberian Sun: Firestorm scenario files (battle.ini and
battlefs.ini).
2. USING BattleSun 2
First run
During the first run of BattleSun
2, settings window will appear. You must set SUN.exe file path and, if you
want, an autosave.
Creating new
project
To create new BattleSun
project click the button 
on the toolbar or NEW in File menu. In the
next window (New Scenario) select files you want to include in your project, and then click ACCEPT button.
Editing
After saving a project you can now edit battle.ini and
battlefs.ini files. Click 
to edit Tiberian
Sun scenario file (battle.ini), or 
to edit Firestorm scenario file
(battlefs.ini).
In
CAMPAIGN combo field you must enter your campaign code name.
From CD list select a disc, needed for campaign.
In MAP FILE enter your map file name. Map file must be
in SUN folder.
FINAL MOVIE is a name of movie file in tibsun.mix.
DESCRIPTION is a text displayed in Tiberian
Sun campaign select menu.
In Firestorm tab there is no FINAL MOVIE position. Instead
there is 
. Select it
when you want to use expand01.mix file in your campaign.
Click on 
to move
your scenario files to Tiberian Sun directory.
Click on 
to delete your scenario files from Tiberian Sun directory.
3. OTHER OPTIONS
Hiding
toolbars
To hide toolbar right-click on the toolbar and
deselect toolbar you want.
