Description
Here is the list of things which this mod does:
- Adds apple and orange trees around Cyrodiil. These trees are fully Havok'ed so that if you knock the fruit out of the trees with your sword, or shoot them with a bow, they'll react realistically. A fun thing to do is try shooting an apple out of the tree in such a way that it knocks other ones out on its way down. You can see how many you can knock out of a tree with one shot.
- Makes all the logs in-game, harvestable. When activated, the shelf mushrooms along the side of the log will disappear and random amount of different shelf mushrooms will be added to your inventory. There is also and random chance of finding some gold in the log and a random chance that either a little fawn or a rat will pop out.
- Makes all the flower bouquet planters in the game, harvestable. Also, you can take the planters home and re-harvest them every three days. The new ingredient from the planters is: Flower Bouquet. Note: Harvesting stolen planters makes them no longer stolen.
- Allows you to pick up a Nirnroot planter, take it home, and harvest it every three days. Note: Harvesting stolen planters makes them no longer stolen.
- Creates a new ingredient: Hay Bundle. Makes all hay bails and even hay targets harvestable with this new ingredient. Also, many more hay bails were added throughout Cyrodiil. You can find them in all stables and most farms.
- Makes horses in the game "feedable" with the new Hay Bundle ingredient and heals them if they are injured. When you activate a horse, if you have any Hay Bundles in your inventory, you'll be prompted if you want to mount the horse, or feed it. You can feed other people's horses without penalty. Also, you need to feed Shadowmere meat, not hay.
- Adds Dog Meat and Horse Meat to dog's and horse's inventories, respectively.
Installation
- Extract everything into your Oblivion\Data folder and tick the Qarls_Harvest.esm AND the Qarls_Harvest.esp.

- This mod is NOT compatible with Qarl's Logs! The reason is that this mod has new meshes for the logs so that when you harvest the them, the shelf mushrooms on the side of the log disappear. You'll need to untick the Qarls_Logs.esp and clean your save BEFORE installing this mod.
- To clean your savegame of Qarl's Logs:
- Keep Qarls_Logs.esp ticked and start the game.
- Go into an interior cell and wait or sleep for 72 hours.
- Make a new savegame and exit the game.
- Untick the Qarls_Logs.esp and install per the above instructions.
Useage
To make a mod compatible with this mod:
- Determine whether or not you need to do anything. If your mod does not alter the existing stock horses or add new horses, you probably don't need to do anything.
- Make your mod dependent on my ESM:
- In the Construction Set, Check Oblivion.esm, Qarls_Harvest.esm, and your ESP. Set your ESP as Active and Open.
- If the horse you want to make "feedable" has no script on it, simply add the Qhorsefeed script to the horse. Optionally, you can also add the Qhorsemeat ingredient to its inventory.
- If the horse you want to make "feedable" does have a script on it, you'll need to add all the code in the Qhorsefeed script into your script. You can look at the horse* scripts to see how I did this.
- Please do not include this entire mod in your mod. Do not alter my ESM file. But feel free to make your mod dependent on this mod's ESM to make your horses "feedable" and insure compatibility without asking my permission.

Issues
- Occasionally, when you harvest a log, it will disappear instead of replacing itself with a "harvested" log. This usually corrects itself when the player takes a step or two. However sometimes it may not come back at all. I believe this is a bug in the game engine's PlaceAtMe function. I have not been able to correct this problem at this time. If anyone has any ideas, please email me.
