Dino Island

Welcome to dino island, Liberty city's first island with a big dinosaur monument that reminds me of truckasouras from the simpson's.

This island also has Liberty's first glass bridge and first collapsing road.

Installing the island

To install this island go to your gta3 folder and open up the data directory and then open the maps directory, you can drop the two files that came inside this .zip file (dino.ipl and dino.col).

Go back to the data directory and here you will have to find the GTA3.DAT file, open this and scroll down to the section marked #collision data this section is split into 3 sections, place the address to the dino.col file under the first section. EG: COLFILE 1 DATA\MAPS\DINO.co

Down at the very bottom of this file are the address to the ipl files. Slap in the address to the dino.ipl file here at the bottom of this file.

EG: IPL DATA\MAPS\DINO.IPL

And that's it, the island is located at the bottom of harwood, just passed where there is a secret package.

Help and other stuff.

This is no big thing but it does have some fun stuff to do when you get bored. I designed the palette bridge so that it would work with most cars, it will work with most cars in the game as long as you keep a good speed up. I have tried it with my own modified stinger and it works and the suspension is fair low on that.

The glass bridge can take a car and depending on the way you land it from the ramp it will only crack. The only thing is you can't walk on it, the player just gets stuck on it.
