Description:
A fast and simple starter for Counter-Strike. It is useful for copy / paste action of Server IP`s or server admins / players with rcon.
CStrike Starter is freeware under the conditions in the license-agreement below!

Manual:
When you first start CStriek Starter you should configure it. The upper configuration field has to contain the path to your hl.exe.

Example.: c:\sierra\half-life\hl.exe

The field below can be used for your default server. Just type in the IP and it will be loaded into the starter field every time you start the program. The default server can be deactivated.

Bsp.: 195.88.134.228:27015

It is recommended to use the additional parameters field with the "-console" standard parameter! You should only change this field if you know how to use the Half-Life command-line parameters!

If the server is passwort-protected activate the password function. Just type in the pass and start.

The admin function is only for people with rcon access to a server. Others should let it be deactivated. You only have to type in your password and the address and port of the server.

explanation:

Don`t know what IP and port are? Ok, we have a server with the address 195.88.134.228:27015. On this server 195.88.134.228 is the IP (field "Server") and 27015 is the port (Feld "Port"). Please do not enter the ":"!

If you change anything on your configuration click "Apply" to save the changes! Otherwise they might be lost or not in effect.
