  Purpose:  
 

The maingoal of this mod is to let people playing with the rules they like. We don't want to make a QW or a Q2 (or anything else) revival so every little thing that is not exactly link in Quake3 is under a callvote. If you think that drop weapon (or grapple) has no place in Q3 just don't vote for it. There are variable for admins to lock these callvote . Note that you already can't change the g_gametype by callvote.

Whatever just have fun, this is a game :).

 
     
  How to setting a game:  
  The files needs to be unzipped in yourquake3path\challenge.
Use the challenge.bat or type:
quake3.exe +set fs_game challenge +set g_gametype 3 or 4 +set g_dowarmup 1 +set sv_pure 0
+set bot_enable 0 >>IMPORTANT if bot_enable 1 Linux servers will crash !
 
     
  How to play:  
  Just join the game, then to ready up your team type \teamready, when both teams are ready the match begins.
 
     
  Rules:  
  You can't pickup during warmup.
You can't change g_gametype by callvote.
You can't join a team after the warmup has ended.
It is not possible to vote during match or when spectator.
In CTF mode possible maps are restricted to q3ctf* and q3cwtf*
You can change timelimit by typing \callvote timelimit
thelimit or \callvote tl.
You can change map by typing \callvote map
themap.
You can prevent from using powerups by typing \callvote g_nopowerup 1.
You can prevent from using BFG by typing \callvote g_nobfg 1.
You can allow the weapon drop by typing \callvote g_allowdrop 1.
To drop type \drop 3 etc ...
You can also \callvote fraglimit (fl), \g_friendlyfire, \capturelimit (cl) ...
\player to get numbers associated for all player.
Classical management of teams \ready, \unready
\pickplayer, \kickplayer, \lockteam, \unlockteam for team captain.
Also if captain \captain number of the new captain .
You can play sound for your team by typing \play_team
yoursound.wav.
Type \accuracy to get some stats (damage given and received , stats by weapons etc ... ).
To enter a team during a match you need the proper joincode.
To change your joincode type \joincode
thejoincode.
Special admins you can lock some callvote with 3 vars g_allowvotebfg, g_allowvotedrop and g_allowvotepow .
 
     
  Futur addons:  
  Different mod for the overtime (extra time and sudden death).
An OPTIONNAL grapple in CTF.
Captain will be able to change joincode.
Possibility to restrict maps and votable war with a team.cfg and a ctf.cfg files.
An OPTIONNAL client with a GUI with all variables.
Files to manage allowed maps , allowed options.
Special commands for bookable servers.

Added new Admin var g_mapmode 0 = normal (after a map voted return to nextmap code)
