This is a plugin for the Foundation system as of its 05252002 release. If you don't have the Foundation yet, get it at www.beldar.com/~dasher/Foundation-current.zip
This plugin, when activated through the Configure-> Mutators panel in-game, allows a much faster and somewhat more Newtonian Intercept/Orbit speed. Ships accelerate gradually and then decelerate before reaching their target in a much more realistic fashion. The maximum speed has been raised, so on long trips you can expect to go as fast as 2.5 million kph!
Since this operates on a multiplication of the ship's regular values, ships with higher acceleration rates travel much faster than others. It's quite an advantage.
To install, simply copy these files into an existing BC/Foundation installation and activate the plugin in the Mutators panel.
Thanks go out to jwatts_jr whose help figuring out the proper syntax for accessing the impulse values and whose work at finding better approaches to make this new AI playable helped make this mod possible.
