Description:
The U.S.S Leonov, nicknamed "The Animal" due to its participation in the fierest battles during the Dominion war in a long forgotten backstory, found its origin within Elite Force and
specificly the RPG-X modification and was designed as both an inspirator and tech demo. During its original development and release in 2009 and 2010, a lot of RPG-X maps heavily used dead ends or
clip brushes in their corridor design and if such map didn't use custom textures, then it was deemed "uncool". The aim of "The Animal" was to let people see what can be done with just the
default textures and a continues corridor design that didn't rely on dead ends and clip brushes.
Based on Jedi Academy's Outline THREE, the port to Elite Force II marks the map's return to the Star Trek franchise and altough a lot needs to be done, this Christmas demo reflects the state of
the map as it currently is. Hopefully a full release of "The Animal" will happen in 2019 besides the other Elite Force II projects.
