There are seven drydocks which are maintained and operated by the orbital facility. While the Type 1 drydock is capable of accomodating vessels as large as the Constitution class, the Type 2 drydock can handle the larger Federation class as well as Ptolemy-class tugs with multiple cargo modules. Each Type 1 drydock is fully equipped with main and auxiliary control rooms, a mess hall, computer core, and office for the Dockmaster. In addition to these facilities, the Type 2 drydocks contain their own workbee hangars and are virtually self-sustaining.

Drydock 1: The Constitution-class USS Enterprise is docked here, undergoing repairs from a severe ion storm during which Lt. Cmdr. Ben Finney apparently was lost.

Drydock 2: The Hermes-class scout USS Revere is docked here while its main computer core is overhauled.

Drydock 3: An experimental new twin-engined destroyer, the USS Pontiac, is undergoing final testing here before embarking on a shakedown cruise.

Drydock 4: The Enterprise's sister ship USS Excalibur is being fitted with a new warp nacelle after experiencing severe damage during an encounter with an unidentified alien vessel.

Drydock 5: The USS Intrepid, the only starship with an all-Vulcan crew, is almost completely repaired. Further work has been temporarily postponed, however, as Commodore Stone has reassigned all repair crews to the Enterprise.

Drydock 6: The Ptolemy-class transport tug USS Hubble is docked here, taking on supplies for the MK-IV starliner attached to it. If you wish, you may beam aboard the starliner and tour some of its decks.

Drydock 7: The recently commissioned Federation-class dreadnought USS Star League, making a temporary stop at Starbase 11 for resupply as it returns to Earth after its shakedown cruise, is currently docked here. If you wish, you may board the new vessel and tour some of her decks.
