Despite the recent destruction of the second DEATH STAR, the Imperials still have considerable forces spread throughout the galaxy. As you know, Alliance Intelligence has been given the task of obtaining information on the location and composition of these remaining pockets of strong Imperial resistance so that Command can decide how to commit Alliance forces.

Your mission is to gain intelligence on Imperial operations in the Outer Rim. Your specific target is the Star Destroyer Avenger and its escort ships. We have learned that an Imperial facility is still in use on Ord Mantell that might provide you with information on supply ships recently sent to the Avenger. Due to the present shortage of Alliance equipment following the Battle of Endor, we are only able to transport you to a rendezvous with a freighter travelling to the planet. Once you arrive, you can hide in a cargo container that will be unloaded into one of the docking bays.

Our information reveals that the Imperials have abandoned all but the critical facilities at the spaceport so you shouldn't have much of a problem making your way to the Imperial base. But I'm sure you've heard that before.
