NL KMARNS A mod for Rogue Spear: Urban Operations By Willem-Matthijs Crielaard NL KMARNS is the "Nederlands Korps Mariniers" or Dutch Marine Corps. The reason for me to creata a mod around this corps was not so obvious as it seems. I actually wanted to create a BBE mod. The BBE is the dutch elite CT team. BBE stands for "Bijzondere Bijstandseenheid" or Special Support-unit. Members of the BBE are selected from ranks of the Dutch Marines' finest. BBE operates only within national boundaries, falling directly under the command of the ministry of interior. (As opposed to the Commando's, who operate mainly "behind enemy lines") While working on my mod, I realised that I was not able to create a great mod all by myself, simply because of my time-constraints, so I decided to cut my work short, and go for a small "NL KMARNS" mod as an add-on for the NATO v3.5 mod, which contains almost all of the other weapons used by the KMARNS. The only weapons missing are the Diemaco LSW "Light Support Weapon" (or LOW, "Licht Ondersteunings Wapen" in Dutch) and the Steyr Mannlicher SSG rifle. Acknowledgements:
Primary weapons in this mod: Diemaco
C7FT (Flat Top, also designated C7A1) Secondary Weapons Glock17
pistol Reticules All reticules have been created to represent their real counterparts as realisticly as possible. All reticules are black, with crosshairs colored and sized as a "stand in" for the normal sighting markings. As a result the Glock's iron sights are quite obstructive to your vision and the M203 launcher will have to be used mainly by experience, because the grenade's ballistic path makes it drop quite a bit at longer ranges. Uniforms This mod contains wood and desert uniforms. Because the KMARNS adopted the US Marines camouflage pattern, these are the Rogue Spear Couturier's US MilSkins with only an altered inventory picture and without the "Rainbow" armpatch. Installation Start the executable and install the mod in the path suggested by the setup-wizard. Afet
installing the mod, start Urban Operations and go to the
"Options" menu. Click on "Mods". |
