TechMPQ OVERVIEW

Notice:

This program is released "as-is" and the creator will is NOT responsible for any damage done to the end user's computer or files located on that computer.  Please be aware that this program is still in testing and the program may crash during an MPQ procedure and possible corrupt the MPQ archive.  It is reccomended that you backup all files before editing them using ANY program.

TechMPQ Features:

Add/Replace File:

• File to add: The file that you wish to be added to the archive.
• MPQ Archive: The MPQ archive that you wish to add the file to.
• Packed filename: The name of the file once it is stored inside the MPQ archive.

Press the "MPQ It" button to add the file to the MPQ archive.

Extract File:

• MPQ Archive: The MPQ archive that you wish to extract the file from.
• Packed filename: The name of the file inside the MPQ archive.
• Destination File: The name of the file where the packed file will be saved.
• Search Listfile: Opens the Search Listfile dialog; See below for documentation.

Press the "MPQ It" button to extract the file from the MPQ archive.

Extract Multiple Files:

• MPQ Archive: The MPQ archive that you wish to extract the files from.
• Lisfile: The list of files contained inside the MPQ archive.
• Filter: Filter the files by thier extension after the archive and listfile are loaded. "*.*" denotates all files.
• Save List: Saves the list of files currently in the MPQ Contents window to the selected file.

Press the "Extract Files" button to select a bsae directory where the files will be written. NOTE: The directory MUST exist prior to selecting the base directory.

Delete File:

• MPQ Archive: The MPQ archive that you wish to delete the file from.
• Packed filename: The name of the file stored inside the MPQ archive.
• Compact Archive: Removes unecessary data from the archive after deleting; NOT reccomended for large archives due to probable system hang.

Press the "Delete File" button to delete the selected file from the MPQ archive.

Search Listfile:

• Lisfile: The list of files contained inside the MPQ archive.
• Filter: Filter the files by thier extension after the archive and listfile are loaded. "*.*" denotates all files.
• Save List: Saves the list of files currently in the MPQ Contents window to the selected file.

Press "Select File" to select the file and return to the previous screen.
